Two boon, Umpire—Cavanaugh.SATURDAY AFTEKNOON'8 GAMEThe home team won the last game of the Evansville series Saturday afternoon by a score of 11 lo 0. thereby getting two out of the three games with the Hoosiers. It was the most interesting game that has been played in thiB vicinity for years and was attended by over 500 people. Pitchers Calligban, of the Evansvilles. and Bauson, of the home team, umpired the the game, and while kicking at an umpire is generally not in good taste, yet it is not putting it a bit too strong when it is said that Callighan’s was the rankest attempt at umpiring ever perpetrated on the public in this vicinity. Notwithstanding thiB and the disadvantage of having the visitors run in six scores in the first inning »be Twin-Cities succeeded in winning the game. Baxendalc and Sage was the Twin City battery, and Morrison was first put in the box by the visitors, but at the end of the fifth inning he was relieved by Collins, but be was no improvement; the home team had its batting clothes on and pounded the two Flooaicr twirlers for a total of 16 hits, O’Day, Nulton, Mackey, Dale and Sage, each cracking out a two-bagger. The feature8 of the game were the home clubs bitting and Nulton'« pretty stop of a hot grounder from Briggs in the ninth inning which retired the side.Ji »ci Jrlaiii/-Mali nlt;— Fmt.j TilU —K 11 Y A B It H 1* A EO'DJV. 1.1 2 * I OO'ilnk*. f».0 0 112 NuUna. 3..2 1 0 1 1 Knr?.. rf. ..1 1 2 0 0Data, J 2 0 n Wenlz, W..2 13 11llofiman. rM 0 9 1 0 McOucrr.1.3 Ml 0 fl Mackey,lf..l 2 2 0 0 Mnrty, Cf.l 12 0 0Lynch, **»-..3 i! 8 1 1 Brings, c. 2 l 6 i lZeia, 1.... 1 2 11 0 0 Marti.
