E. W. Willard, of Wilmington, and H. B. Scutt, of Joliet, were chosen secretaries, and the convention proceeded to busineis.A committee, consisting . of Judge Simmons, R. C. Thompson, ot Wilmington, and Robert Huston, of Braidwood, was. appointed upon credentials.In a short time the committee presented their report, which was received and adopted. Seventeen towns of the county were represented, nearly all by full delegations.Homer—A. G. Rowley, Amos Sayage, Curtis Morse and Selah Knapp.Mokek — Ephriam Phillips, Jacob Busch, Henry Conrad and Jacob Vattcr.Jackson—D. B. Curran, E. Gifford, J. H. Bridge, and W. C. Grant.Peotone—D. L.
