ALFRED L. BUFFINGTONFuneral services will be held tonight at 8 p.m. for Alfred L. Buffington, a former Markham resident, who was living at 2655 Maypole, Chicago.Buffington died Monday in his home. Services will be held at the Hammond and Prowell Funeral home in Chicago Heights. The body will lie in state after 2 p.m. at the funeral home chapel. Family visitation is from 7-8 p.m. tonight at the chapel.The Rev. James R. Flint, pastor of the Union Baptist church, will officiate at the services. Burial is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. Friday morning, at Mt. Glenwood cemetery.Buffington was born September 21, 1940, in Sickman, Ky. He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Steele, of Markham; and a daughter, Mrs. Regina Garlington, of Chicago.
