Sprig Muslin, Georgette Heyer (Ace Star.' 50 cents). Miss Heyer has a large and appreciative audience and they'll be very pleased with this novel in which heroine Amanda is young, beautiful and pure of spirit while her heroes remain dashing and (of course) just a tiny bit cynical. The story is a romantic one, some of the characters are hilarious and tte setting is bold and brave Regency England. It is said that Miss Heyer combines some of the qualities of Jane Austen and P.G. Woodhouse, with a dash of Sir Walter Scon tossed in. A very funny book from the penof a highly talented writer.
