BOWLING BANQUET—Pictured above are members of The First State Bank Bowling League who were entertained with a banquet last Thursday evening in the Rattan Room at Little Bob's. Approximately forty attended. The same grup has played in the league for two years and plans were made at the banquet for the coming year. Jimmie Jordan, vice president, gave the welcome and the invocation was given by T. C. Bruce. Trophies were awarded by Jordan with Burl R. Bowder assisting. Women re ceiving the Individual High Game awards were Jo Weaver, Margo Moore, Ida Armstrong and Ruth Seevers, and the same awards to the men went to Bud Bruce, 4 @24 @1204. Johnny Casall in Bameariis. In the Individual High 3-Game Seis the awards went to Jo Weaver, Marg, Moore, Dorris Hawke, Johnny Casall, £ 4 Harris and Bud Bruce. Members of the championship team, Yankee Dimes, are Bill Weaver, Sylvia Earnest, Wanda Casall, J. Casall and Jo Weaver. On the second team, Golden Nug gets, are Melvin Beyer, Ruth Seevers, Barbara Good ing, Burl Bowden and Ida Armstrong. Members of the third team, Penny Pinchers, are Jimmie Jordan, Sandra Jordan, Lynda Yates, Dorris Hawke and A. D. Hawke. For the Most Improved Bowlers, awards went to Barbara Gooding and Jimmie Jordan. The Sponsor's Trophy was awarded to J. P. Lomax, pres ident of The First State Bank. Pictured at left are the entertainers for the eve ning. They are Marsha Carlile, vocalist; Mark John son at the piano, and Ernest Carlile, Miss Carlile’s father.
