\ vmuj •That a grandson born Monday in Houston, Texas, will le the sixth American born generation in the Lutheran ministry is the fond hope of the Rev. and Mrs. F. W. C. Jesse. The Rev. Jesse is pastor of the Trinity Lutheran church. Mrs. Jesse's great grandfather was probably the first permanent Lutheran minister in Western Pennsylvania. He located there in George Washington’s first administration. Her grandfather was a minister, as was her father. Mr. and Mrs. Jesse’s son, the Rev. R. A. Jesse, at present holds a pulpit in Houston. It was to the Rev. and Mrs. R. A. Jesse that the son was born. The Rev. F. W. C. Jesse’s father was also a minister, making the family a line of divines on both sides.
