The club recently adopted a resolution to hold the annual banquet on the Monday evening nearest the birthday of Governor Adams which Is May It The table was attractively adorned with baskets filled with pink and lavender sweet peas, these being Joined with long streamers of pink and lavender tulle. A large birthday cake designed In the same colors was a delight to the eye and dHlciou* as well. The Rev. Thomas J. Wolohan. president of the club, presided, and Prof. H. M. Rarrett, of Rouldrr. formerlv of Pueblo, and a member of the club, made an Intermtlng address, giving the history of the club and a biography of the life of Governor Adams, the highly rstncmed member.
