Deal, a young; man employed at the Sedalia Candy com-pajiy’s factory, Main street and Ohio avenue, had an unusual experience Wednesday evening that proved a genuine thriller for him, and is which his shoulder was dislocated.Deal, who works under the direction of Foreman John T. McGraw. started to turn on an electric light, and in so doing placed his other hand on a piece of metal, -when a current passed through him that rendered him unconscious. Through the heroic efforts of Mr. McGraw, Deal was released from a perilous position and shortly regained his senses.He was hurriedly taken to the office of Dr. M. T. Collins in the II gen -fritz building, where a thorough X-ray examination was made and the shoulder dislocation plainly shown.The dislocation was reduced by Dr. Collins, with the assistance of Dr. F. B. Long, while the patient was under the influence of an anaesthetic.Deal was afterward taken to his home, 1010 East Fifth street, where he is much improved.
