Mrs. Mellie Carr of this city has received word of the death of her mother. Mrs. William Farley, seven ty-two years old, of tuberculosis at her home in Fairland, Shelby county. She is survived by her husband and the sons, besides the daughter here. The funeral was held at the home this afternoon at two o’clock, with the Rev. A. R. Jones officiating and burial was made in the Fairland cem etery.
