® pwici tuTezuigiuiun.— —-——On Saturday, June 1st, an Old Settlers’ meeting will te held on the edge of Johnson county, at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, known as Glenn’s Meeting House, nine miles south of the city. This is the fiftieth anniversary of the settlement of the neighborhood by the Glenns, Swart*, and Wisn-Acrw, who came in 1822-2'*. Historical a Id res sea will be delivered, and a good time Is expected, to which all are invited. The people will bring dinners with them and plonic on the grounds.
