M.; which said conveyance wa« duly recorded in the Recorder's office for said Scott county, in Itook I' of Mortgages. at page • tl. Said conveyance was made by the said Samuel Criswell and wile, and said Rob-ett Criswell and wife, for the pur|eite of securing the |*niucnl of their four certain promissory notes, an»1 the interest thereon, signed by said Samuel Criswell and Robert Criswell, dated the Mb day of November, A. D. I*4n, as follows. One for eleven hundred jllw) dollars, jayabli to one Hiram Miller, November Mb, 1H.»9; and one for oee hundred and fifty , I So' dollais, payable to raid Hiram Miller, Novewbor 6th, ISiV; and alsoone for eight hundred and eighty lK80| dollars, payable to one Elias R. Williams, November 6th, 1*69, (on which last note there is endorsed forty* one 40-100 dollars); and one for one hundred end twenty 120' dollars, jwyable to said Elias R. Wil* I laws, November t»th, 1Sj9.And now,all of eaid notes having become due and payable, and the said Samuel Criswell and Robert Criswell having failed to pay the same, f, Abner Davidson, Trustee as aforesaid, do hereby give this public notice, that by virtue of the power which Is in me vested by seid Deed of Trust, I Wall, on Saturday the 9th day of June, A. D. 1*4# at the hour of two o'cloek in theafterwooc of said day, at the Court House door, ia the city of Davenport, expose and offer for sale, at public auction, the parcel of land above described, or so much thereof as shall be neoetaary to satisfy and pay the amount of said not*s, with interrat oa said notes to the day of sale, together with all the costs and expenses attending said sale, easts of this no* ties and Trustee's fees.Dated this 14th day of May, A.
