Floyd Circuit Court.—The jury found a ver dict of guilty against, John Akers, for the murder of Jacob O. Fredrick. The case re sembles,in some of its features, that of Levi Sipes; in both cases the deceased were civil officers, and both were, in the exercise of their official duty, at the time they were killed.
