HUBBARD—The Reed Middle School seventh and eighth grade girls track team are currently 2-3 for the season, and defeated Niles earlier this month 74 and a third to 30 and a third to register their biggest victory of the season. Fo llowing this game, the Eaglettes were defeated by Glenwood 38-67. The last meet of the season will be tomorrow afternoon against Canfield Featuring in the Niles meet were: long jump, first, Kristi Duff 13’ 4”; Chris Boughner Patty Kennedy tied at 12’ 2”; high jump, second, Vicki Chappa 4’ 3”; third, Lisa Philips 4’ 2”; shot: first, Bobbie Jo Happney 22’; second, Lisa Lentini 21’ 4’’; discus: second, Martin 53’ 9 °; third, Happney 52’ 3”’. The girls had a meet with Fitch Middle School yesterday afternoon, and end their season with Canfield tomorrow. Featured in the Niles win were: front, Patty Handrush, Debbie Madeline, Dean na Babich, Chris McIntee; back, Jenny Zackasee, Lisa Abrutz, Michelle Thomas, Wendy Werner, Cara Hendrix, Arlene Cutter. A WINNING SEASON is close at hand with the Reed Girls Track Team, their first ever, as their season concludes tomorrow af ternoon with a home meet with Canfield. Featuring in a recent Niles victory were these girls: front, Arlene Cutter, Michelle Thomas, Lisa Abrutz, Carla Hendrix; back, Chris Buchenk, Patty Kennedy, Deanna Babich, Cara Hendrix. FIELD EVENTS—These members of the Reed Girls Track Team rec ently had a 44 point win over Niles. Coached by June Ferguson, the girls are: Kristi Daff, first in long jump; Patty Kennedy, third in long jump; Robbie Jo Happney, first in shot; Sherry Martin, second in discus; Vicki Chappa, second in high jump; Lisa Lentini, second in shot.
