J. S. Weidman DeadJohn S. Weidman, state wide known lumbveintan and .banfker. of Mt. Pleasant, dropped dead in Washing, ton. I). C.. Sunday night. Mr. Weid-innn was 65 years of age and at one time was interested as a stockholder in one of the local factories. Many local men at some time in the past worked in one of his lumber camps. He carried on extensive, lumbering operations at Weidmnn. which town was named after him and later on worked bis mills and busmuas in northern parts of the state. He also owned one of the principal banks at Mt. Pleasant.
