, 1937Cadets To Attend R. O. T. C. Camp At Camp Custer, Mich.Will Have Advanced Military Courses Under Government Officers This Coming SummerLie-ut. L. L. Doan announces that the largest number of Western cadets ever to attend an advanced summer R. 0. T. C. camp will report to Camp Custer, Michigan, on June 18. There they will receive training, which, when combined with certain required work at W. M. A*, will make them eligible for Reserve Officers’ commissions when the candidates become twenty-one years old. The work is also of great aid in grooming cadets to be officers here at Western next year.These camps are open only to cadets from superior military schools and from colleges and universities. The training giyen is thorough and is really worth-while.
