FIRST DIVISION MEETS.Preparations Made For The Organization of . V - 4r a Baseball Team The First Division Naval Militiamet in their armory last night and held an interesting: drill and business meeting:.The matter of forming: a baseball team for the summer months was taken up and the company voted unanimously in favor of the idea. Ensign J. S. M. Symons, Senior Boatswains Mate F. A. Wrench and Seaman A.M. Smith were appointed as a committee to act with a similar committee Irom the Torpedo division and select two teamr, which are to play against each other and a prize team picked from the best players.The challenge from the Rill men has not been received yet, but the company exhibited much enthusiasm and would not delay the organization of a team.
