Various Matters as Viewedfrom State ProhibitionHeadpuarters.*We are interested in the fight in Indianapolis to banish the saloon^rom the residence portion of the city, and hope the right will prevail. We are just as much concerned about the saloon in the business part of the city, and in all other cities and towns of the state, and are working for its banishment every-4where, and hope the good people of Indianapolis will get their hands and hearts so deep in the work that they will enter the wider field. Rev. J. Cummings Smith, of the Tabernacle Presbyterian church, talks with the right ring.Congratulations are in order for the brethren at Nappanee. One big grand step towards a clean municipality.Touch a man’s church or religion, and you hit a tender spot. We are glad to hear some of them cry out. It shows at there is still life and hope. Agitation along these lines is better an stagnation. Let something be one. Either purify the old church and get her right side up with this liquor lousiness or form a church that will be ght not only on this question but with hrist in all things.3
