Maureen Messer, RN, has met the selection criteria for inclusion in the “Who’s Who of Ameri can Nursing 1993-1994.” She has been employ ed by St Joseph’s Hospi tal and Health Center for eight years, working in the hospital’s Medical/Surgical, Children’s Services and Emergen cy Services Departments. Messer attended Dickinson State College where she received an associate degree in nursing, and MedCenter One for paramedic training. She is a certified instruc tor in CPR, advanced cardiac life support, and pediatric advanced life support and is also certified in the trauma nurse care course, and as a certified emergency nurse. She is an advanced North Dako ta air crew member and belongs to the National Emergency Nurses Association, State Emergency Nurses Association, State Trauma Committee (voting member) and the N.D. Safe Kids Coalition In January 1993, she was chosen as a delegate to the Midwest Reg ional Pilot Program to become a pediatric core nursing course instructor.
