He placed 7th out of - all the half mile runners, is Steve Callahan placed 8th in the ir mile run with a time of 4:46.7. g Steve is only a sophomore and has y great possibilities for next year, n Doug Dickinson also placed 10th in the pole vault with a jump of .d 10’. This is Doug’s best jump oi the season.ie The boys placed 5th of all the :h schools in Class C. ill Dawn Wright ran the 880 yd. e- run at the Girls State Track Meet :k at Drake Saturday evening. Thi9 70 was the first year for the half so mile for girls and Dawn oame in i a 9th with a time of 2:43 The winn as ln'S time was 2:36 so this was a -ar real good time.
