Hall,' Simpson ‘Timber Company,in his keynote address May 23 before delegates to the 20th annual Redwood Region Log ging Conferences at Ukiah. 'The two-day conference opens at the 12th District Fair Grounds at 9:30 am., May 24th..'Theme of this year's’ conference: is “The Logger — Key Man’ for Closer Utilization and Per manence”, Welcoming ‘addresses as the conference gets underway ” will be given by State Senator James Busch of Ukiah; Joseph Scaramella, chairman of ‘the Mendocino’ County Board ‘of Supervisors; Mayor Roy “G. Wagner of Ukiah; and Pacific Logging Congress President Nils Hult of Hull Lumber Company, Junction City, Ore gon. . George Steadley of the Pa cific Coast Company, Willits, will present the president's address following the wel coming remarks. The Friday morning program will close with an analysis of California's economy and economic out look by Harold L. The Saturday session will begin with an address by R. G. LeTourneau, president of R. G. LeTourtteau, Inc.,Long view, Texas, who will discuss the prospects and possibilities for new logging equipment.
