George Percy Irving, 74, native and lifelone resident of Moss Point, died at the county hospital Tuesday after a lengthy illness. Son of the late Charles and Sarah Mooney Irving, he was a member of one of Moss Point's oldest families. He married the former Miss Helena Frentz, mem ber of a well known Pascagoula family. They lived in the Irving home on Dantzler street. Worked at Big Mill For years Mr. Irving was em ployed by the Dantzler Lumber Company, working first in the Big Mill and then, until the mills closed, as operations superintend ent of the band mill. He was later employed by Peterzell-Gelles and at the time of his death was m ployed by the city. He is survived by his widow, one brother, Albert J. Irving, Pascagoula, and two sisters, Mrs. Daisy Martinez, New Or leans, and Mrs. E. L. Wegmann, Mojave, Calif. Funeral services were held, Wednesday afternoon from Pails chapel and the Moss Point Cath olicc church with the Rev. P. J. Hannelly officiating. Interment, was in Griffin cemetery. Active pall bearers were Ed ward A. Khayat, E. W. Cirlot, B. M. Fairley, W. G. S. Stewart, T.
