MAIL WILL LEAVE HERE FOR NEWARK AT 4 P. MAt four o’clock this afternoon an airplane, piloted by Raymond New-house, of the Newhouse Airport, will leave, for Newark, N. J., carrying Princeton’s share of mail for Air Mail Week.In connection with the nation-wide celebration of the twentieth anniversary of the aerial mail service, this community has arranged a program to commemorate the event. A private plane, w.ith the pilot sworn in according to government regulations, will carry the local mail to Newark Airport where it will be sorted and returned to Princeton.Serving on the committee are ex-Mayor Joseph S. Hoff, chairman, Senator Crawford Jamieson, Alexander Leitch, Foster D. Jemison, B. Woodhull Davis, Miss Edith B. Mar-gerum, Ralph E. Kimble, Miss Mary E. McCarthy, Edward Ho^Vell Roberts, Mrs. James Higgins, Mrs. Holmes Forsyth, James E. Whitlow and Mrs. Margharetta Link.Cachet decorations, which will adorn the Princeton mail were drawn by Arnold Pierson, of Princeton High School. Cooperating with Princeton on the program are Kingston, Rocky Hill, Pennington, Hopewell, Skillman and Blawenburg.
