Kuek, Weber and Williams led their team mates and fought their way to 58 points.Kuek, their premier field event man, leading with a world's record heave of 214 feet, 2£: inches in javelin, and a conference, record of 50 feet, 1£ inches in the shot, and a first in the discus., .From the first event on the result was clear. Pittsburg Teachers finished second, 46£ points; Southwestern third, with 15J; Baker fourth,' with 15; Bethany and C. of E. at tie for fifth with 10 each; Bethel was, seventh ;with 7; McPherson 8th with 4 and' St. Mary's ninth with 3. Washburn, and Friends, tied for tenth with 2 points and Hays was twelfth with 1.A total, of four conference records were wrecked and one more equaled.
