Walden, May 19 — Ira L. Scott died in his home on Orange avenue at 9.30 o'clock last evening, after a long il ness. Death was due to heart dis ease. Mr. Scott had been in poor health since last December and his condition had been growling steadily worse. He was born in Walker Val ley, Ulster county, 76 years ago. Ra had lived in this village for 50 years. He was a teamster by occupation. Mr. Scott was a veteran of the Civil War, laving served nine months in Com pany G, 168th Regiment.
