Seventy^Six Years Old*Dr. Robert Griffis vesterdav eele-•k •bra ted his 70th birthday. On tfce 17 th%rof June next he will have been in Middletown an even half century. Duringthis time he has witnessed tnanv•»changes in the town and surrounding country. He is the onlv man left in«rMiddletown, who was at the head of a€family when he came here, and there are very few houses now standing that were here then. Dr. Griffis for a man of 70 is still in fairly good health and is quite active. His numerous friends hope he may live to celebrate many more birthdays.
