| PRISONERS SENTENCED.Pined for Cutting Timber on OovernmcTilLand.Madison, May IH.-- In the Federal court to-day Eugene Markee pleaded guilty to cutting t imber on government land in Vilas county, and William Pettit to the same offence in Ashland county. Each was fined $100. Antonie Bursetta, George Washington, (juugan-ipee, Indians, pleaded guilty to carry ing liquor onto the Flambeau reserva-: tion. They went to the Milwaukee House of Correction for thirty days each.
