I). 185h, Haniuel Criswell ami Margaret Criswell, his wife, ami Hobart Criswell ami Mary Criswell, bii wife, executed unto A boar Damon, ai Trustee, a certain Deed of Truit, conveying to said Trustee the laad in Scott c,,unty, Iowa, described as follows, to wit: The tooth-west quarter ot Section No. twenty |9tl), in Townshp No. se7enty-nine |7*,»] north, of Kang© fonr ' 4 j east of the fifth (^thl P. M-; which said conveyance was duly recorded in the Recorder's office for raid Scott County, in Itook MIM* of Mori* gageH, at |age 70. Said conveyance was made by the said Samuel Crirweil and wife, and said Robert Criswell and wife, for the purpose of recuring the payment of their four certain promissory notes, and the interest thereon, signed by aaid Samuel Criswell and Robert Criswell, dated the 6th day of November, A. II. ISbft, as follows. One for eleven hundred L1100J dollars, payable to one Hiram Miller, November 6lh, 1869 ; and one for one hundred mnd fifty [IfiOJ dollars, payable to said Hiram Miller, November 6tb, 1S69; and also one for eight hundred and eighty l*b0] dollars. *ayableto one Klias R.
