SPRINGFIELD, S.D. (AP) - Doug Richards of Dakota State birdied the third hole of a sudden-death playoff Tuesday to win medalist honors in the South Dakota Intercollegiate Conference golf tournament. Richards and Craig Rink of Huron College finished the 36 holes with 147 totals. Dakota State took the team title with a 608 total. South Dakota Tech had 641, Black Hills State 657, South Dakota Springfield 688, Huron College 697 and Dakota Wesleyan 738. Dennis Rolfes of Dakota State was third with a 76-76- 152, Mark Anderson of Tech fourth with a 75-78-153, and Jody Boline of Dakota State fifth at 78-76-154. CRAIG RINK Second in SDIC Golf
