COOLIDGE (AP)—A defunct clothing factory here has been taken over by Levi Strauss Co. which will soon start mak ing its denim clothing. More than 400 persons were thrown out of work when Cali fornia Girlswear, Inc., shut down the plant last February. Strauss executives have start ed interviewing potential work ers, but declined to speculate on the possibility that the company might take over other plants operated by California Girls on at Cottonwood and Arizona ity.
