Route 3. was being held as a result of the fatal shooting Saturday night of James Auty h loyd, 25, a Korean was veteran of llorry County.Shelley was still in the Mullins hospital Sunday night with gun-! shot wounds of the face and legs. His condition was described as -Good.Witnesses were quoted as saying the shooting followed a demand by Shelley that Floyd leave the premises when he became disorderly. The man fired at each other with shot guns. Floyd was pronounced dead upon arrival at Mullins Hospital.Sheriff Henry said Shelley was served Sunday with a homicide warrant signed by an Horry County deputy sheriff. The coroner's inquest has not been held. Mr. Floyds is survived by hisShelley; a daughter. Donna Karen; his parents. Mr. and Mrs. Worley Floyd of Route 2, Tabor City; three brothers, Edison Floyd. Lewis Floyd and Larry Floyd, all of the home; three sisters. Mrs. Lora Mae Foster of Mullins, Mrs. Betty Lou Stephens of Route 3. Nichols, and Miss Martha Ann Floyd of the homeFuneral services were conducted at 4 o'clock Monday afternoon from Inman Funeral Home -at Tabor City by the Rev. W. E ‘3 Marring. Burial was in the 1Green Sea Cemetery.
