County of McDowell, North Carolina, a Corporation,■—vs—Carrie Fowler and husband. -Fowler, McCail Bros., Undertakers, Levi Steele.To: Levi Steele, defendant, and to all persons claiming* any interest in the lands hereinafter described You will take notice that an action, entitled as above, has been commenced in the Superior Court of McDowell County for the purpose of foreclosing tax sales certificates for delinquent taxes for the years 1934, 1935, 1936 on the following described lands in Marion Township, McDowell County. N. C.: Adjoining the lands of 'the late Charlotte Steele, Daniel Lucas, the heirs of Mrs. Mary Yancey and others, and bounded as follows: Beginning on a forked black oak in a hollow, Yancey’s corner, and running various courses and distances to the beginning, containing seven acres more or less, and being the same land conveyed by deed from Levi Steele and wife, Charlotte Steele, to Polly Fowler..You will further take notice that you are required to appear at the Office of the Clerk of the Superior Court of McDowell County, in the court house in Marion, N. C., within thirty days next after the 28th day of May, 1939, to answer or demur to the complaint in this action, or the plaintiff will apply for the relief demanded.
