MANY NEW BUILDINGS TOGO UP HERE THIS SUMMERThat there is going to be no business depression in this section of the country this summer on account of tho war is evident from-the amount of*building that is in^progress in Dil-Ion and surrounding country at the | present time and planned for the im-1 mediate future. Besides tho new; $100,000 Andrus hotel that is well | under way, the addition to the build-1ing occupied by the Bond Grocery j company and the new buildings in the northern part of the city being put up for the occupancy of the new lumber company, there are a great! number of private residences going] up in all parts of the city as well as some residences and barns on farms in the country nearby. Among the new residences upon which construction work has already started is the new modern bungalow of D. V, Erwin on North Pacific street; a new residence for John Neil; a new brick residence for Jay Holtz opposite the Normal college; a nine-room residence for R. E. Foster on North Washington street; a new bungalow for Sigard Rood on Dakota street; a neat bungalow for Mr. Shoemaker near the A. S. Rife property, and a new bungalow for W, E. Stephenson on South Rife street. There are also several new residences north of the track in the northern part of the city an$ Beveral Just west of the limits of the city in course of construction. Many other new homes and some business houses will also be commenced before^ rthe summer is over.
