Seniors Make Public Their Class WillsMiscellaneous Bequests to Juniors of (ireensburg High School by Class of *16.We, the raemers of the class of 1916, realizing that our period of existence as a class is fast drawing to a close and that history, custom, precedent and the dictates of our own munificent hearts demand that we leave our school lives as we entered them and that we shed from ourselves such things as we have accumulated during our sojourn there, do, in consequence thereof, being of sane and disposing minds, separately and individually devise, bequeath and dispose to the members of the class of 1917 our dearest and truest treasures, by this instrument which does and shall hereby set aside as null and void and supercede any and all previous instruments of this kind:Know all men by these presents that:I, Gladious Aldrich, after so many years of constant practice think that I have at last mastered the original “swagger walk as found among the exclusive “four hundred” and wishing to have this always before the inmates of the high school, do will the aforesaid accomplishment to Ruth Biddinger, whom I believe after a little practice will be able to take up my chosen work and make it a true success.I, Gail Alley, wish to bequeath my success in the use of my beautiful brown eyes in a coquettish fashion to Nellie VanKirk and wish to extend sincerest encouragement to her in the untiring effort she has been putting forth along this line.1, Grace Barnes, do will my common sense and excess gray matter to Nellie Baumgartner, who I trust will accept them without any hard feelings.
