C. H. Riot was at St. Croix last Tuesday. Charles Perrot passed through our burg last Saturday. The rain is still pouring down. I never saw such weather. Gray on Faulkenburg was at Doolittle Mills last Saturday Sam Marting was seen rssing through our burg last Saturday. Joe Perrot was at Ell Gold man’s, at West Fork, last Satur day. Jim Goldman and John Bodart passed through our burg going to Eckerty. Tom Deen, from Branchville, passed through here enroute to Eckerty. Nick Lucas and family spent Sunday with Mr. Emile Perrot, of St. Croix, P. H. Bernardi, from Bear Hol low, was at St. Croix shopping last Friday. Nick Lucas is under the weath er and Rob Faulkenburg is plow ing for him. Nick Lucas made a trip to Eck erly last Tuesday for Hugh Judge of St. Croix. Will Rohl, of Celina, is work ing for his brother-in-law, Peter Faulkesburg. Bernard Lucas spent a few days last week visiting his old neighbors at Bear Hollow. Andy Sturgeon, from Bear Hol low, passed through our burg go ing to St. Croix. Lawrence Clutinger, of Bear Hollow, was seen passing through our burg last week. Mrs. Ora Faulkenburg was at her mother’s, Mrs. Fred Rohl, last Tuesday night and Wednes day. Gene Frakes and son, Everett, and Harvey Goodson, of Branch ville, passed through our burg last week. Several from here attended the dance at Edward Hubert’s Tues day night. Everybody had a good time. Marshal Faulkenburg passed through our burg last Monday go ing to J. B. Faulkenburg’s after a lord of hay. Robt. Quinlin, from Branch ville, was in our burg. He and Nick Lucas went to C. H. Riot’s to buy a calf. Several from around here went and registered and to the conven tion. This township went solid for Robt. Quinlin all except about five or six votes. (Blue Bell.) Just received a fresh line of groceries at Markums.
