Local People Responding Liberally to Cause. TWO SCHOLARSHIPS IN LIST Subscriptions Range in Value from $1 to $45—Town and County Merchants Donate. Supt. Harvey Enthusiastic. The following subscriptions have been secured to furnish prizes to our successful competitors of the Corn Club and schools of the county to be given out at a fair which will be held as soon as the corn can be gathered in. As far as our people have been seen, they have contributed liberally, and have thus shown in terest in the rising generation, and their willingness to encourage them in their preparation for living, and for citizenship in a great country. In our solicitations we do not want to be troublesome to our neighbors and friends, but we do want to make our fair creditable to our great county, and to our enterprising people. We wish also to give our contributors credit for their generosity in the bulletin we propose to publish prior to the fair. In this printed booklet all the prizes will be graded also and announced. Any additional contributions can be given to Misa Rhea C.Scott or left for her at the Superintendent's office where they will be recorded. Largest Subscriptions, 8.
