Jacob Jones, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Isaac J ones, Saturday had the misfortune to run an -penny rusty nail in a finger on the right hand. He was driving a cow home, and the bovine became a little unruly and Jacob picked up a board and threw It at the cow. He did not notice the nail, and as it left his hand the point pierced the fleshy part of the finger. He was taken Immediately to Ur. Holley who dressed the wounded hand.
