Win comnes, in the Kitty league,has made a flattering offer to Pearl Edmonds who does stab duty for the Grays of this city and the young man went to the pla Post today to ‘try’ out.” If he so successful Edmonds states that he expects to sign with the Vin cennes team providing the terms can be reached. Washington apparently never pro tects herself again at the leaving of the members of the team. Last year Goodin uncermoniously hiked to etrabeests and now it looks like Edmonds will go across the river Whith. The management ought to drawi up a contract properly secured which would bind the men for tha t 6eas0h or until releand.
