DRAtiUED UNDER A RAKE.H. H. Whitfield living just across the river, met with quite a serious nccidout lust Friday. Ho was raking thistles with u hay rake and burning them, The wind which was blowing quite strong blow one of the burning thistles uuder one ot the horses, and the team soon became unmanageable. Mr. Whitfield was thrown under the rake and was carried some distance by the teeth before they Hew up and lot him out. He is considerably bruised but has suffered no serious injury from his terrible ride in front of the rake teeth. The horses were captured at the Norway elevator, not much injured but the rake was badly demoralized.
