Heavy accessions iu number of soldiers were received, and a hind some sum of money in aid oi the «ui6e was pledged.The following add rasa o! the Ohio State Convention of F. B. was issued to the Irishmen of Ohio:Columbus, Ohio, ilay 15th, 1868. To the Irishmen and friends of Ireland in Ohio: Brothkbs : The delegates sent by you to represent the Brotherhood of Ohio at this Convention, declare you solemnly that, in their judgment, the Organization is hi a more solid foundation and better able to cope with the enemy Dow than it has ever been before. This declaration they make after a full investigation of the present resources of the Brotherhood, and the plans which General John O'Kelll has submitted to their Inspection. To reveal what those resources and plans ^re, would be to destroy the hopea which we have all so long and so fondly cherished; hut on their honor as men, they assure yoh, that with the blessing of God. the ‘ dny is near at hand when the fate of d§«fr old Ireland shall be aubmltted to the arbitrament of the sword.But, Brothers, you Sannot afford another rests with you.
