Eight Junior Rotarians from Rockdale High School were special guests at the Rockdale Rotary Club's Tuesday luncheon. The boys, each of whom had been a Junior Rotarian for one month during the year, were in troduced in a group, as follows: Gordon Harris, Ronald Todd, Mar shall Caraway, Billy Joe Hall, W. Lee Murray, Mike Hight, Richard Kirkpatrick, Wayne Kyle. Featured on the club program was “The Magic Barrel’ show which dealt with direct and in direct derivatives of oil and petro lume products. The program was arranged by W. P. (Red) Hogan, who introduc ed Lewis Pridgeon of Bryan and Bill Banks of Houston, who gave the demonstrations and lecture de picting some of the chemical pro cesses involved in converting the raw products into the finished pro ducts. Samples of various petro chemistry produced items were shown. The program, which was also given here the next day before the ‘Lions Club and at the focal schools, is sponsored by the Oil Information Committee of the American Petroleum Institute.
