She had been 111 since November with a serious Illness.Mrs. Howen was born in Norway and at the age of four came toAmerica with her parents. She was married in 1883 to Joseph Duea of Roland, who preceded her in death In 1912.She is survived by her second husband, Odne Howen, whom she married in 1925, and 13 children:Anna Mae Duea, Mrs. Bert Britson Jand Victor Duea of Roland; Jonas ! Duea of Dell Rapids, S. D.; Homer I Duea of Ames; Mrs. Frank Tallyman of Towa City; Mrs. L. 0. Har-jris of Nevada; Mrs. Earl Stent and! | Benjamin Duea of Valley Junction; j Mrs. L. T. Lewisson of Graetting-j jer, Joseph Duea of Washington;1 Mrs. Rus Eakers of Spring Valley, Calif.; and Virgil Duea of Clarion.) She also leaves two brothers, Sam' Jondall of Roland and E. T. Jondall j of Bermidji; two sisters, Mrs. C.! 0. Christian of Blue Earth and Mrs. J. M. Christian of Nevada. | Funeral services will he held at i the Salem Lutheran church, Wed-j neiday at 2 p. m. with the Rev. Olas Holen in charge. A prayer service will take place in the home at 1:30 and burial will be in the Roland cemetery. J
