She had been ill since November with a serious illness.Mrs. Howen was born in Norway and at the age of four came toAmerica with her parents. She was married in 1883 to Joseph Duea of Roland, who preceded her in death Iin 1912.She is survived by her second husband, Odne Howen, whom she married In 1925, and 13 children:
