It accommodated about as many people; the roadbed is very similar; the service practically the same. Every unoe In a white connections were made with main line trains, and the need of a ^time-table was positively nil.It was predicted by passengers that It would be but a short time until Engineer Buckley* would be carrying along his fish pole and when tbo big ones started to raise In the Whitish and Stillwater creeks he would tie up and try bis luck.It was first thought that only one man would be required to operate the bus, but daring several trips thepaaengers were kept busy keeping cow* from climbing In the back doo; end Captain Buckley was forced to burn the mid-night oil working out a satisfactory solution to the problem.Some people familiar with past history declare that Mothsr Nature Is merely taking her course In punishing Kallspell for It* many sins committed against the north end of the county.
