DEATH OF MRS. A. S. SIMPSON OCCURRED ON LAST FRIDAY.Wife of Mr. Asa Simpson PattedAway In Motleyvllla After a Lingering Illness.The announcement of the death of j Mrs. A. S. Simpson, which occurred in Mosleyville last Friday has been received with much regret by many friends of the family. She succumbed to paralysis after suffering a long period with the disease and the burial rites were conducted at the old family grounds in Hancock county.Mrs. Slmp on leaves her husband and ten children, forty grand child rcn and two great grandchildren, in addition to several other near relatives.Everything that loving attention nnd medical skill could devise was done to alleviate Iter suffering, but to no avail. Her children nnd grandchildren were greatly devoted to her and they maintain the hope that her life will remain as a living example to them.She was a member of the Rapt 1st church for 60 years and she kept the faith, always happiest in doing good deeds for others. A sad feature of the death in the family was that of Irene, the infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Roberts, grand daughter of Mrs. Simpson and thus Mrr. Roberts wan called upon to give up her mother and child in the same day and she has the sincere and heartfelt sympathy of the entire section nnd many friends have expressed their feelings to the family.
