I.iitlior LtiiiKiio Convention.The annual convention of the State Luther League Association assembled in Yankton this year and the meeting opened on Sunday for a three days' session.The Canton League took a prominent part In the deliberations or the IxKiy and was represented by many enthusiastic members. Madland, L. A. Games, Melvin Wangness, Elmer Ber-dahl. Alvin Isakson. Elmer Anderson, Andrew Vlland, Carrie Herdahl. Tilda Herdahl, Emma Herdahl, Christie Herdahl, Jennie Herdahl, Pearl Harris, Palma Monrad, Blanche Isakson. Martha Gulbrandson, Judith Sogn, Mrs. Ed Isakson, Mamie Isakson. Syn-va Thompson, Laura Bothen, Millie Botlien. Nina Hegdahl. Anna Heg-dahl, Marie Hanson, David Tetlie, Clarence Sogn, Miss Sundvold and Miss Huseboc of Worthing.It wits probably the largest delegation at ^ ankton and certainly there was not a more enthusiastic Ixxly in the convention. The delegates wore deep red badges with the words: “Canton League” surmounted by an eagle and shield. The Augustana college choir, all members of the League, we believe, furnished the music under the direction of Prof. Quale. Rev. Glcsne of Aberdeen presided, ami the opening service wits conducted by Rev. C. Iv. Solberg of Chicago. Hon. John Holman delivered the address of welcome. _;_
