We know we an* going to have gravel roads sometime but- don't you think it would bo a good idea if those who live near a bad place in the road would donate a little time and work ( and dll in the rnts so as to make them I passable until we get belter roads? ] We should all be interested enough in i good roads to do this much willingly.Yes we saw Haliie out riding with “Mack” Sunday.Mr. and Mrs..G. C. Smith transacted business in Terre Haute last week. Mr. G. G. has more gold in his mouth than in his pocket, so he savs.Billie Rudisel had some dental work done in Terre Haute last week, he is a gold standard man tooJim Welches’ and Henry Paynes’ made a business trip to Lewis Friday and Miss Dolly now wears a new spring hat.Mr. and Mrs. Bond of Jasonville were the guests of Grant Singhiirst and family Sunday.We understand there is going to bea Pierson Fair this fall. So girls get your quilts and jellies ready. All the boys will be there looking for a house-| keeper.
