It is now being printed.The hardbound volume is 286 pages with numerous pictures from the past Sections of the book are businesses, schools, churches, military and family histories. A special section, Remembering.. ..contains reminis censes of days gone by, some of which were written by former residents who grew up in Thompson. There is also a section of memorials, given in memory of former Thompson residents.The epilogue and prologue were written by the late Lloyd Thorsheim who grew up in Thompson. Dividers for the various sections were drawn by Jerald Palmer of Choteau, Montana, a son-in-law of the late George Hays. His wife is the formerBetty Hays.The cover of the book is green with silver printing. It features the same design as the belt buckle, key ring and the community's motto, A Good Place to Call Home.Price of the book has been set at $35 per volume. However, those who order the book and pay for it in advance will get it for the special price of $32.50. Books will be reserved for them, to be picked up at a later date. Those who want the book mailed must add $3.50 for postage and handling for each book ordered.
