One Pete Laughlin of Sweetgrass called the clans together and a temporary organization effected. Dr. T. Mr. Gilliland was badly shaken bill tiol seriously hurtThe accident occurred ou a stretch of new road where a sharp frade leads down a steep embankment to Whitefish river. t’ufamiliar with the road, Mr. Gilliland approiched the bank unaware of the sharp turn, and in attempting to avoid dalhiug over the brink the ear was tver-turued, and the automobile rilled to the botton of the embankment some 50 feet below. Assiattnee was hurriedly summoned f-om Whitefish by phone, but the iujsred woman expired without regaining consciousness. Besides a brolen arm and leg, she was injured infer ually.The body was brought to lie Gilliland home by an auto shit from here, and Rev. Stevenson \sus placed under the care of a physician at the Hotel National.
