i'eotb and tl rtbiog Burned Otheri*feeauti~‘a£Elza Baum, the patient at Long Cliff hospital, who was recently stricken with small pox, has recovered entirely and returned to the hospital. As soon as Superintendent Rogers discovered that the patient was afflicted with the dangerous malady a tent was erected in the woods at the rear of the hospital and the patient was removed to that place in order to keep the disease from spreading. Before being returned to the hospital the patient was treated- to a warm tba'th and a fumigating process arid given a new suit of clothes. The attendants who volunteered their services to care for him during his illness were treated in a like manner, and all -the bed clothing, tents and everything that was used at the quarantine station was burned. Dr. Rogers and his staff treated this case in an admirable manner and the community owes much to the doctor’s prompt action and thorough treatment df die case.
