Mies Blanche Rothrock,of Goldendale, who has been in The Dalles several months, quite generally known as belonging to the Salvation Army, and a distributor of the War -Cry, the organ of the army, called yesterday, and stated she was soon to be given her eyesight. She is now nearly blind, and the doctors have assured her she will soon lose the use of them entirely, bhe says the Lord lias promised to restore them. Asked aa to the time she said she could not tell when the miracle was to be performed, and when asked how she knew it would be done, she replied that she knew it just the same way she knew she was saved. Holy Writ has it that faith may remove mountains, and it was apparent, from her assurance yesterday that she could not be more confident of an established fact.
